About JUST GRANTS! Arizona

Maryn M. Boess, founder and president of GrantsUSA, has committed her career to supporting the work of America’s grants community since the mid-1980s.

• Maryn is the founding publisher and editor of the Arizona Guide to Grants & Giving, the premiere print and online directory of corporate and foundation resources for Arizona grantseekers, first produced in 1995 and updated continually.
   
• Maryn provides leadership for the grants profession at the national level as a director on the national board of the American Association of Grant Professionals. She is working with AAGP to establish local chapters nationwide and a credentialing process for grant professionals.
   
• She created and now manages the four-year-old JUST GRANTS! Arizona resource website (www.azgrants.com), widely regarded as the definitive source of grants-related tools, news and information for Arizona grantseekers.
   
• In November 2000, she began publication of the JUST GRANTS! Arizona free e-mail newsletter – now distributed every two weeks by request to over 3,300 grant professionals and volunteers statewide.
   
• Maryn’s grant research and funding proposals attracted some $26 million in new dollars for human services and education programs in Arizona during her ten years as an independent grants consultant.
   
• Maryn is a highly-regarded workshop and seminar leader whose skill-building sessions on grantsmanship, collaboration, organizational effectiveness, and other topics attract many hundreds of participants statewide every year.
   
• She consults on and facilitates group work sessions for nonprofit and public agencies, with an emphasis on strategic and program-related visioning and partnership development.
