Arizona Directory of Nonprofit Consultants
A service from JUST GRANTS! Arizona
Welcome to the Arizona Directory of Nonprofit Consultants -- your link
to professionals who are available, as independent consultants, to work
with Arizona nonprofits and government agencies on a variety of organizational
issues. The Directory is set up as a searchable database to help you zero
in quickly on those consultants with the skills and expertise you need
for your project.
If you are -- or know of -- someone who should be included in the
"Directory," please go to the SIGN
UP PAGE. All listings will be posted on the JUST GRANTS! Arizona website
for a full 12 months from the date of receipt.
To make the very best use of this valuable resource, please keep the following considerations in mind:
The listings are entirely self-reported, and are based solely on
information provided to us by the individuals themselves. In this
regard, we cannot and do not offer any guarantees as to the accuracy
of the information or the effectiveness or quality of the work provided.
It is up to you to use the information from the Directory to contact
those consultants who seem most appropriate for the work you have
in mind, and to discuss and negotiate with them the terms and conditions
of the work involved and any resulting work agreement.
SEARCH OPTIONS: The Directory offers you two flexible, easy-to-use
search options to narrow down your list of potential consultants.
Focus Area: The Directory listings are organized around
13 "focus areas," chosen by the consultants themselves
to best reflect their skills, interests, and background. You can
create a list of potential consultants with the specialty you're
looking for by using the simple selection box below.
Key Word Search: The "Key Word" search allows
you to create a list that combines more than one focus area -- by
entering, for instance, "research AND technology". You
can also use the "Key Word" search for more specialized
topics -- such as "international" or "rural"
-- to see which consultants (if any) have used those terms in their
self-descriptions. (See "Helpful Hints for Key Word Searches,"
below.) You may also search by CITY.
Helpful Hints for Key Word Searches:
1. You can link searches by using the words AND/OR:
- [research AND technology] = All listings in which both
the word "research" and the word "technology"
appear.
- [research OR technology] = All listings containing at
least one of the two words.
2. Use quotation marks [" "] to enclose complete phrases:
- ["project planning"] = All listings in which
the words "project planning" appear together, as a phrase.
3. Use the exact version of a word to return the most precise results:
- [grantsmanship] = Only those listings containing the
specific word "grantsmanship".
4. Use the shortest possible portion of a word, with a wild-card
(*) for the missing letters, to return the most complete results:
- [grant*] = All listings in which "grant" appears
as a complete word or as any part of another word -- including grant,
grants, grantsmanship, grantwriting, grantwriter.
